Forrest Yoga

 Designed by American yogini, Ana Forrest, it has been hailed as the “yoga of the 21st century”. A fairly modern practice, just 40 years old, it was designed for the modern world. It weaves together with new and modified poses to take care of the body and mind whilst addressing modern ailments often caused by everyday life.

Forrest yoga is built upon four pillars - breath, strength, integrity and getting to connect with your spirit - to find freedom on and off the mat.

Yoga shred-inspired flow

Combining two disciplines to create this core strength anatomy-based yoga class.

A HIT yoga fusion of cross-training techniques mixed with a flowing yoga sequence to make a combination to make you feel like you are flying. This style of yoga works the entire body, through high intensity intervals to get the heart rate pumping to optimise your cardio, with the balancing low intensity and grounding elements of yoga.

This class is suitable for all whom want to work hard but can take modification to suit how you feel on that day. Suitable for complete beginners-advanced yogis.

Cacao and suns club with crystal bowl sound meditation

This class is all about the combined bliss - creating a surge of energy and movement in the body.  High on the antioxidant chart, we start our session with an optional small taster of cacoa, which paves our way to appreciate the warming sensations of sun salutations.  Our suns are accompanied by music, allowing the body to get into a rhythm, for around 15 minutes. You are welcome to go at your own pace and to relax and restore in a devotional pose at any point, this gracefully-linked sequence will work into a wind down of luxury sounds from the crystal bowls to create a sound mediation.

Suitable for complete beginners-advanced yogis.

Power Flow

This 45min Power Flow is a strong dynamic flowing practice that will build quickly whilst encouraging you to breath, stretch, strengthen to ultimately leave you feeling invigorated - the perfect way to complement your day! 

This is a mixed multi-level class, ideally suited to intermediate and seasoned yogis. 

Runner’s Yoga 

A yoga class designed for runners, by runners. Targeting those parts of the body, particularly affected by runners or those that exercise regularly, and don’t always stretch out enough afterwards (!). Focussing on tight hamstrings and hips, building core strength and balance in a simple, flow sequence which is different each week. Taught in an anatomically-focussed, plain-speaking style.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures. The word “hatha” can be translated two ways: as “willful” or “forceful,” or the yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha), the yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation. A gentle introduction to the most basic yoga postures, to leave you feeling more relaxed.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word for a phrase that roughly translates as "to place in a special way," referring to a sequence of poses. Vinyasa classes are known for their fluid, movement-intensive practices. All our Vinyasa Flow teachers sequence their classes uniquely creatively and intelligently to smoothly transition from pose to pose, with the intention of linking breath to movement. If you hate routine and love to test your physical limits, this might be the class for you.

Forrest inspired rocket

Rocket has its roots in the ashtanga vinyasa world,  it was restructured by Larry Schultz in San Francisco in the 1980s. has also taken off in yoga studios of London, being labelled as the “happy hour of Ashtanga, with key postures from all of the primary series whilst making it accessible for our lives now. 

This class has a general feeling of a fast-paced flow, with lots of fun poses too which is perfect for a lunch time pick me up with tunes to make the soul buzz. Another key system of Rocket is to choose a modification that suits your body, this is also backed up by the inspiration of Forrest yoga which weaves in though its intent and intelligent sequencing.

This class is suitable for yogis with an existing practice, not for complete beginners.


Slow stretch and crystal bowl meditation

This class is a chance to slow down, listen to the body and use your breath to gain energy and tune out the buzz of the brain. Sometimes slowing down is the hardest thing to accomplish, but this incredible combination of movement and meditation will help you breathe better, gain focus and feel more balanced.

We will use the stretches and slow movement to open the body and mind to slip into a dreamy blissful state of mediation with the sound of the crystal bowls.

Half HIIT, half yoga flow, our very popular HIIT yoga classes combine an all over body workout designed for all levels wanting to develop their fitness. Bursts of intense body weight exercises carefully blended together to help unlock the fat-burning, metabolism-boosting, heart-pounding benefits of High Intensity Interval Training. This is followed by flowing yoga postures carefully weaved together and designed to be synchronised to your breath to leave you feeling balanced, stretched, relaxed and energised.

Men’s only yoga class, taught in a fun, accessible, welcoming environment. Whether you have never stepped foot inside a yoga studio before, had a “bad” experience or you are a seasoned yogi, you’ll feel the benefits of this class. A flow based session to help increase endurance, build strength, prevent injuries, and release tightness particularly in the hips, hamstrings, and shoulders that can lead to injury or weakness.

Ashtanga Vinyasa mix

Ashtanga is based on ancient yoga teachings, but was brought to the West in the 1970s. It's a “physical” style of yoga that follows a specific sequence of postures and links every movement to a breath. Our Ashtanga Vinyasa mix class takes the foundation poses of the Ashtanga Primary sequence to mix into a flow to leave your feeling energised and relaxed.

Uniquely created for The Hive - Dance Yoga

Whilst studying a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science, Sarah competed at National level around the UK in Ballroom & Latin dancing.

After graduating, her love for dance, Science and athletic movement, lead to her pathway of discovering yoga and the benefits of how this could help both physically and mentally whilst competing .

After six years of practicing Hatha yoga Sarah decided to take one step further to complete her Yoga teaching qualification with BRYCE yoga fit, flow, fly teacher training in Koh Samui in 2016 and not long after completed her Level 3 Personal training qualification.

Both Yoga and dance allow us to find the freedom and inner awareness to connect both the mind and body.
Sarah’s classes aim to help us find this through the combination of dance, movement and yoga - Be prepared to be challenged, sweat and most importantly have fun!

Mindfulness Meditation with Lucy

Doo Meditate™ “real life” mindfulness meditation, techniques created by meditation teacher, Lucy to use in the modern world. This is a continuing meditation class running for those who have at least a little meditation experience.

This class will help you to deepen your meditation practice, whilst fine tuning your skills and we will meditate within a group setting each week.

Crystal Bowl and Sound Bath meditation with Bex

A crystal sound bath harnesses the reverberating sounds and vibrations of crystal bowls of all shapes and sizes, to lull you into a peaceful and mindful state of being. Bex Thibault, a qualified sound specialist is on hand to play the hollow bowls like instruments by twirling a crystal baton around the sides to create an unforgettable experience.
